This was informative information about the libraries of the future. The reading on the harnessing of collective intelligencies and WorldCat was interesting. Expanding of libraries reach and resources will be a wonderful resource for students if they are able to tap into worldwide resources. I think librarians will have a hugh responsibility to make sure that students use critical thinking skills and not just believe what is put out on a website. This also applies to teachers needing to always consider the source.

I certainly agree with you! We will all have a responsibility to make sure our students know how to be discerning about resources!
Evaluating all the information that is so readily available is challenging for teachers, librarians and students alike.
